Where Children of All Abilities Grow and Learn Together

A Child’s Place at Unity House is proud to form a team for the Capital Region Buddy Walk. The Buddy Walk, set for Sunday, September 29th in Schenectady’s Central Park, is to raise awareness of, and support for, individuals with Down Syndrome. The Unity House team for the Buddy Walk is made up of staff and friends from a network of preschools in Troy and Albany, NY.

A Child’s Place at Unity House provides early intervention and pre-school developmental services in speech/language, physical and occupational therapy, psychological consultation and general skills. These services are delivered to children from birth to five in three settings: a traditional preschool and toddler group center-based program (which includes integrated classes), other preschool/daycare programs, as well as in homes.
