A Child’s Place at Unity House participates in annual Hero Walk and Run for Autism

Staff and friends participated in a community walk and run in support of individuals with autism in the Capital Region! The event on September 22nd in Schenectady was organized by the Autism Society of the Greater Capital Region, which serves as a source of education, advocacy, and support for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), their families, friends, and professionals.

A Child’s Place at Unity House offers services for children across the spectrum and works closely with community partners in order to meet the needs of families, especially those newly diagnosed.
