Bethany, Unity House’s community meals program which serves breakfast and lunch daily, will host a six part series, Cooking Matters as part of the Capital Region Eat Smart New York.

A collaboration between Cornell Universtiy Cooperative Extension, the NYS Office of Temporary Disability and Assistance and USDA SNAP, the 6 part series is a fun and interactive nutrition education program geared toward empowering individuals and families with skills to stretch their food budgets and cook healthy meals.

The workshop will be held Tuesdays at 12:30 in Bethany. Starting May 19 through June 30th, attendees who attend all six workshops will receive a certificate.
